Plato FOuntidakis - CEO | Managing director
Plato is the co-founder and CEO of Fast Motion Studios an independent film and new media technology company based in Toronto, Canada. After graduating with Honours from Seneca College/ York University, Plato’s entry into the entertainment sector was marketing campaigns for a diverse group of corporate clients in the mid 90’s. Simultaneously his lifelong focus & passion of martial arts led him to Asia where he was expedited into the North American film and television realm.
This facilitated to the creation of Fight Action Stunt Team (F.A.S.T.), a highly successful stunt/action services organization that is networked world-wide; its member’s posses an inviable list of production credits. Strategizing and envisioning the progression of new technology, led by the gaming industry, Plato co-founded, alongside his business partner Paul Rapovski, Fast Motion Studios. One of Canada’s first independently-operated service providing motion capture and new media facility.
In addition to managing the day-to-day operations Plato is responsible for media development, strategicplanning, and executive project management. In his 20 plus years, Plato has managed to procure several successful media projects from development, content creation, to brokering deals through international business relations. This is evident in a number of production credits:

Dave Doucette OCT - Let's Talk Science | Education Program Consultant
Dave is an award-winning science teacher with a passion for bridging science education research into effective high school classroom practice. During a 25 year career, Dave was a science department head and assistant head, wrote curriculum for the Ontario Ministry of Education, edited textbooks for Pearson and Nelson publishing, founded the Ontario Science Olympiad, served as an instructional facilitator at Perimeter Institute, authored 20 articles on ‘Bridging Research into Practice’ and modeled exemplary instructional practices in over 150 workshops at conferences and faculties of education in Canada and the US. Dave served as Vice President and President of the Ontario Association of Physics Teachers and was recognized as an honorary life member in 2013. In 2013 Dave also received the CAP (Canadian Association of Physicists) Award for Excellence in Teaching High School Physics.

Prior to teaching Dave was a police constable with the OPP and the Toronto Police Service. In an 8-year career Dave specialized in foot patrol, snowmobile and marine patrol, was part of the riot squad and served on a pilot special-weapons team. Dave has also been a lifetime martial artist, training since 1966, and is currently a 6th degree black belt with Wong's Martial Arts International in Toronto (est 1962).
Paul Thibodeau – Director of Motion Capture
Paul graduated from Humber College in 2011 studying 3D Animation and Production where he focused on Motion Capture and Technical Direction. After graduating he returned to Humber to teach Motion Capture, then shortly after worked with Ubisoft Toronto’s Motion Capture team on Splinter Cell: Blacklist.
Paul teamed up with Fast Motion, early in 2014 when he was asked to bring his experience and expertise onto the Warhammer 40k: Eternal Crusade Project. It was shortly after this he was made Director of Motion Capture where he hopes to make FMS a premier location for film, television and games to shoot the highest quality of performance capture.
andrew m. richardson - technical project manager | Motion Capture Technician
Andrew graduated from Carleton University and Algonquin College in 2015 studying Interactive Multimedia & Design where he established his passions for Design, Photography, Cinema, and Motion Capture.
Working in a variety of digital media, Andrew helps ensure that the projects Fast Motion Studios services are completed to the highest quality and standard. As a motion capture technician, Andrew assists with data cleanup and technical animation.
Timothy Dashwood -Chief technology Officer

Timothy can be best described as a “Jack of All Trades,” constantly swapping hats as Director, DP & Editor. His DP and editing credits include national commercials for Ford, Leon’s, Canadian Tire, Labatt, Macy’s, Max Factor, Dodge, Toyota (Ontario Dealers), Pantene, Microsoft, as well as four independent feature films - the WarChild documentary ROCKED: Sum41 in the Congo, award winning TV Series Urban Nites and two Gemini Winning Seasons for the CBC series UNDERCURRENTS.
In 2000, Timothy returned to Sheridan College, his alma mater, to study Advanced Cinematography with veteran cinematographer Richard Leiterman (CSC). As a Director of Photography, Timothy has photographed five independent feature length films, nine short films and directed/photographed numerous music videos. Timothy recently wrapped the feature film Bull starring Craig Lauzon, Jeff Seymour, Ellen Dubin & Maury Chaykin. Timothy is also in the forefront of 3D technology leading the way to a novus market. WIth decades of combined 3D experience, the team at Stereo3D Unlimited has shot everything from action shorts to concert videos. Jennifer Iwai - Executive Director | Producer
Jennifer’s inception into the industry was as an extremely efficient and collaborative producer. Her knowledge base and skill-sets in marketing, scheduling, casting and corporate sponsorships is what has excelled her as a prominent producer. When not performing her duties as an executive director designing and slating the creation and development of new media projects. She is one of only a handful of individuals that has produced, cost effective and high quality 3D content. Elicited in the academic arena, Jennifer is spearheading a newly developed workshop offered at the FMS facility encompassing a new media technological experience geared for the youth of today.
Romelle Espiritu - Technical Director | Fight Choreographer
Romelle has an diverse skill set. His career began as a senior graphic and multimedia designer for Open Text Corp and eventually became the Creative Director for Evoke Marketing and Advertising Ltd., a Bermuda advertising agency where he helped design the creative and technical infrastructure to better assist the clients' profiles and brands. Romelle migrated his skills to the animation industry and became a Technical Director for Caliber Digital Pictures, theSkonkworks Inc. and Two Presidents Productions where he headed and managed a team of animators, layout and background artists for such programs as Gemini award winning preschool series Will and Dewitt, Vh1's Hey Joel, Thinking Cars Documentary, NFL Rushzone just to name a few.
Romelle is certified and accredited in Edged and Impact Weapon Control System, Kali DeLeon Filipino Martial Art, Arrest and Control Tactics, Wing Chun, Muay Thai, and has familiarized training with various semi-automatic and automatic weapons as well as intervention options. As a result of his knowledge and experience in various martial arts Romelle has consulted for advanced strategic and tactical programs for Toronto Police College, Ontario Provincial Police Academy, Criminal Intelligence Service of Ontario. His knowledge and skill sets are true assets in all areas of creative and technical management as well as fight choreography.
Currently Romelle organizes and manages stage productions including pre-production and shoot supervision. He also works directly with clients to insure their production needs are met.
Michael Sinnott, P.Eng | Technical Consultant
Mike Graduated from U of T with a BaSc in Electrical Engineering and is Licensed as a Registered Member of Professional Engineers Ontario. Mike works and consults for Ontario Hydro and it's successor company Ontario Power Generation as a Software Design Specialist and Senior Design Engineer. His responsibilities extend to the Design and development of software and systems for use in safety related digital control systems used in CANDU nuclear power plants. His contribution has awarded him the New Technology Award for Innovative Design.
Mike’s background overlaps many areas of the Fast Motion Studios curriculum stem based initiative and educational programs. His experience as a film and entertainment professional since 2001 has enhanced his expertise in devising various state of the art technological advantages both in video gaming as well as virtual and augmented reality based learning. His Passion and love of both Martial Arts and Music has awarded him top instructor level recognition from world renown instructor in both Karate and Kung Fu.
Mike is also recognized by the Royal Conservatory of Music for his Piano and Music Theory achievements.
